When I worked as a costume designer in the Australian Film Industry, it was interesting to see when we were shooting scenes in winter time which were set in Summer – how hard it was for the actors to act hot – loose limbed, a bit slow and languid – when it’s cold your body sort of contracts against the chilliness – you have completely different demeanour when you’re cold.
